  For the chocolate addict in all of us!!!! 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. shortening 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 2 c flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 2 c chocolate chips Cream butter and shortening, gradually add sugars and cream thoroughly. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add dry to moist. Blend together and add chocolate chips. Drop batter by the rounded teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake til edges are golden brown but slightly undercooked in centre. Bake in a 375F = 190C oven for 8 – 10 minutes. Now...lock the doors, turn off the phone and close the curtains! Because ya won't wanna share these bad boys with anyone!!!
