Local Music
I've gone to concerts by major acts and had a good time, but to me, there is nothing like actually meeting, talking to and supporting musicians who work so hard and are so passionate about music. I have been going to local shows for over five years now and I have taken plenty of pictures, met a lot of interesting people and have plenty of stories to tell. I've experienced almost everything while following bands including members leaving or moving away, bands breaking up, all sorts of mishaps before, during and after shows, venues closing, but a lot of good times too. This section features local artists I have seen and befriended, venues I have visited and short reports from the concerts and other events I have been to.

Artist Friends
These artists consider me to be more than just a fan. Most of them I have known for years and have supported during good times and bad. Many of them have even used my pictures. I enjoy their music for sure, but the friendships I've made and the memories I've had are what keep me coming back to see them whenever I can.

The Hydrogen Jukebox
They may sound like the late Frank Zappa and his band but are an experience. Emerging from the well of arts and culture that is West Philadelphia, they are mostly known for their Carnivolution (held second Fridays from May to October at the Ellen Powell Tiberino Museum) which features three sets of the band, perverted puppets, a sideshow with all types of performers and an out-of-this world story that ties them all together. |
