Blue Sinatra is not afraid to mention where they are from. Their unique brand of "Philadelphunk", melding funky rhythms with rap, rock and soul, honors such music from the past and from Philadelphia. They prove once again that this sound can be made by, and for, all races. Performing with similarly influenced acts like P.I.C., London File and taragirl has made themselves a force in the crowded local music scene. I ran into them in 2004 after a Dave Devlin set at the now defunct Club 218 and have been following them ever since.

When you attend a Blue Sinatra show you actually get a party. The band tries their darndest to get everyone into it and percussion breaks, guest stars and audience participation are common. Take them home with their EPs Velvet Gold and Move.
