The Pheromones

Website - http://myspace.com/thepheromones

Location - Warminster, PA

Known since - 2005

By early 2005 I had been seeing local artists for over a year but something was missing. There wasn't an interesting group I knew that played in and around my hometown. But thanks to a search on MySpace I found that group, the Pheromones. They helped reconnect me with my past, meet a bunch of new people and have played an important part of who I am today and I will always be grateful for that. I also enjoy joining the band members for Karaoke from time to time.

I have seen them many different places and go through a lot together. They have gained quite a reputation of having something go wrong before or during a show including failing equipment and various medical problems but persevere despite it all. The band shows their true talent on their first official recording, the EP Sundered. However, there have been changes; drummer and founding member Jessica got married and moved to Maine and they have gotten a new bassist. But whenever and wherever they play I will be there.

It is very difficult to describe what type of music the Pheromones play. They incorporate hard rock, punk, soul and even country into their sound and their songs run the gambit: they can be slow or fast, loud or soft (mostly loud), funny or serious, have a beautiful arrangement or be a three-chord mess. I wouldn't want them any other way.

Check out these songs: "Cool Me" and "Sundered"
