Laura is a singer/songwriter inspired by classic R&B, soul, and funk. She recorded an EP, her first full length album, Falling In, a Christmas album and live album all by the age of 21. Laura is equally adept at playing guitar in her own unique way and putting it down and moving and belting like a true soul singer. With the accompaniment of her father on keyboards and brother on lead guitar her shows are a family affair. She has played coffee houses like MilkBoy and larger venues like World Cafe Live and Grape Street in Philadelphia and the Baggot Inn in New York City . She originally contacted me through MySpace and so far is the only artist I follow that I had not first encountered in person. I am very glad she did!
