JAB is a jam band that plays around my hometown of Warminster and whose members are the centerpiece of Richies' Tuesday night open mic and wherever else they play. The group brings together a large gathering of friends and artists from Warminster (the Wu), Southampton (known as the Dirty South) and other local towns. They have played with local artists like the Stellar Dwellers, John Neuman, the Scott Purdy Experience and Steve Bullman. Former member Jack Foley also was in the Pheromones. They welcomed me as part of their family and helped me meet a bunch of new people and reconnect with some old friends. My friend Anthony is good friends with them and drummer Jeff is dating Tara, my good friend and a former co-worker. A good time is always assured when and wherever they play. They have an almost monthly gig at the Red Stallion but I've seen them in Doylestown, Holland and Feasterville too. They even played at the Arnold's (who I've known since I was a kid) while they still lived in Warminster. Click here for their MySpace page.
