World Cafe Live - 2/15/08
Jealousy Curve had come home to Philadelphia after a month-long tour of the South and were performing Downstairs at World Cafe Live. John Faye from IKE opened, performing acoustic versions of his group's songs and a few older favorites. Jealousy Curve followed with a blistering set featuring songs from both of their albums. Lead singer Michael Leavy performed well even with a cold. Equipped with cold medicine and plenty of water, he sounded fine and even jumped on the drum kit during the middle of the set. Michael later came back on and played an acoustic song for the encore. After the show the bands entertained fans at their tables, not forgetting it was those fans who helped get them to where they are today.
