This story was thought up while reviewing a similar style fic I wrote several years ago. It's told from the first person point of view (POV) and it focuses on the life of an original character. After dealing with two deaths in my own family, I was somewhat inspired to write this little piece. Yuki is forced to come to grips with his past in order to look to his future. Is Akito's death really such a good thing? Has he been wrong about the psychotic head of the Sohma clan all along? At least one good thing does come from the death of a "loved" one.... Slightly Yuki/Tohru centric. COMPLETED!
