The GodsSince this community came here from another world, they naturally still follow the gods they knew. (Whether or not those gods are here is another question entirely.)
Those connected with the sea might appeal to the Seacat for help, or to a generic god or goddess of the sea.
Those connected with healing, and anyone who feels the need to appeal for mercy, would pray to Lyfia, Goddess of Mercy. The main temple in town will be attached to the hospice when it's finished, and it will be dedicated to her. The small chapel in the Commanders' House is also dedicated to her.
Thieves might appeal to Ananki, God of Thieves.
Those with an interest in the darker side of life might call on the Dark Lady.
