The Black Army AnimalsHORSES
The stables for the Black Army cavalry steeds takes up a large area of the military compound. There is room to stable about 200 horses here. Horses of particular note are:
Challenge the Sun
Erysol's black beast of a horse. He's built for speed, a sleek racer. There's no other horse in the stables can match his speed. Known as Challenge.
Cascade of White Water
Mornae's white, white mare. Trained for riding into battle, she has great stamina and strength, but isn’t so great on speed. She’s not a racer, she’s a fighter. She's also quite the gossip, if you speak Beast. Known as Cascade.
Silhouette in Mist
One of Challenge and Cascade's two foals: a beautiful champagne stallion born in May 2004. Known as Mist, he is the finer of the two foals.
Eclipse the Sun
The other of Challenge and Cascade's two foals: a sleek black stallion born in May 2004. Known as Eclipse, he looks good for stamina, and carrying someone laden with armour.
HAWKS
The aviary holds about a dozen hunting birds of various kinds, and there's a pigeon loft too. Birds of particular note are:
Henda
Mornae's personal bird, a Peregrine Falcon; a hen.
DOGS
The kennel houses both hunting and other work-hounds.
