DanielDaniel runs the Black Army stables. He's 46, 6'2", fit but not bulky, with sandy hair, dark brown eyes and a ruddy complexion. He has a few obvious scars from handling obnxious animals, but there isn't a man alive who is better with animals than he is, particularly fighting and hunting animals: horses, falconry and dogs. He's also pretty good at leatherwork, and makes a lot of the basic tack himself.
He's a very calm, patient man; very observant and therefore smart about people as well as animals. He uses boys from the orphanage to help him out as much as he can, but parents can apply to have their child apprenticed to him. He is a bit particular about who he takes, and he'll only work with boys, for some reason, never girls. It's regarded as quite a high-status thing, to be his apprentice.
