| THE GHOST OF MRS. HARRISON The most famous story about the Ghost of Mrs. Harrison dates back to the 1800s, when she was first sighted in the State Dining Room. This has happend on numerous occasions.... THE HEADLESS LOUIS XVI As you know the story of Louis XVI, the last King of France, he was beheaded during the French Revolution. Having Visited the Chateau (which was his palace when he was visitn ghte French Colony) his ghost has been seen waking around the Blue Room and Butlers Stairwell, carrying his head on his left hand.... A HELLOWEEN PRANK The most famous prank ever played on staff at the Chateau was by Jonathan Whitmore, son of President Whitmore when he was 9 years old back in 1989. During his father's 4th year in Office, Jonathan hid behind a revolving door bookshelf in the Kluger Library. At night, while staff was turning off the lights, he let out a screech which sent the maids into a frenzy. |
