This is not a question but I wish to add the name of Dr. Thornton P. Crowell. My great-grandfather had an office in Nankin. To my knowledge he had three brothers who were also doctors. Thornton was born 11/24/1845 and briefly served in the Civil War. He married Emma Sharick on 10/16/1875. They had three children, one of whom, my grandfather, was named Clarence. Clarence and his wife, Clara Walter, had two children, my father, Clifton P. Crowell and Dorothy Crowell. Emma died in 1891 and Thornton married her sister, Eliza in 1892. Thornton died 1/30/1918 and is buried in Orange Cemetery in Nankin. I would be interested to hear from anyone researching the Crowell or Sharick families. Crowell appears to be sometimes spelled Crowl.

LEIDIGH(died bef. 1910) and Mary CARPENTER(born abt 1840), married to Thomas Smith FROLLEY(1874-1933), son of Thomas FROLLEY(1845-1920) and Cynthia JORDAN(1850-1893). Thomas had a brother named Benjamin F. FROLLEY(1882-1961), who married Etta LEIDIGH(1878-1922), sister to Laura mentioned above, then remarried after 1922 to Fannie (UNKNOWN).
