GLEASON, GUNN posted by Matthew Lipsey on Friday, June 5, 1998

I am in search of any information pertaining to Dr. Herman N. GUNN (I believe that is how his name is spelled--the typeface is badly bled into this document). He received a letter, dated April 26, 1931, from E. W. Morgan, "Acting Commisioner." This lett r was regarding Noble GUNN (b. 1762, Sheffield, Mass.--d. 1830, Ashtabula Co., OH) and was included in the Revolutionary War Pension Application information (which Virgil D. White has abstracted). Noble married Lucy GLEASON after taking part in the Revol tionary War. Dr. GUNN's address is shown as "Palace Theater Building, Ashland, Ohio." It would be wonderful to find out more about Dr. GUNN. I'm curious which line of the family he was a part of--if a Family Bible or whatnot may have come down through hat branch, etc.!!! Any and all info is very much appreciated! Thanks

Aaron WOLCOTT (7 Apr 1806) and his wife, Anna WINTER (c1808) migrated to Ashland Co., OH, (c1836), with their family and was joined by his brother Reuben I. WOLCOTT (24 Mar 1800 Lexington, Greene Co., NY - Ruggles Twp., Ashland Co., OH) and his first wife Artemsia BUEL (8 Jan 1802 NY - 8 Jun 1843 Ruggles Twp.), with their family (c1838) who had first settled in Fitchville, OH. While I have been able to find considerable info on Reuben I. and his family, I have been able to find very little on the family f Aaron. I know that they had 8 children between c1823 and c1837 but I can find no trace of them other than my GGGM, Elizabeth M. WOLCOTT (8 Dec 1830 Hunter, Greene Co., NY - 30 Jul 1890 Wellington, Lorain Co., OH). Any info on the family of Aaron would be appreciated.
