Would like to connect to anyone related to Jacob and Eliza (Ling) Stine and/or Jacob and Caroline (Ling)Stine. Jacob m. Eliza first in Richland Co. in 1840 and I think he m. second Eliza's sister Caroline possibly 1853 in Ashland Co. I think that Caroline may have m. first a Jacob C. Stine/Styne. Researching the BRODY family. From "The History of Linn County, Iowa" (1878): "John Brodie and his four sons-John, Stephen, William and Hugh....were natives of Ohio, and commenced their career of villainy in that State as much as fifty years ago. Somewhere about 1830 or 1832, they were driven from the Clear Fork of the Mohican River, in Richland (now Ashland) County... " Hugh Brodie is my 4xgreat-grandfather. His "generation" seems to have changed the spelling from BRODIE to BRODY. I have seen many other spellings: BRODDY, BROADIE, BRAWDY, etc.

I am the great grandson of John Landrum Brown, born (I believe) in Perrysville, Ashland co., Ohio circa 1850. He married Eunice Emiline Bunyan (also, I believe, of Ashland Co.) who was the daughter of Azor Bunyand and Catherine Carpenter (both of them born, I think, in England). I have been completely unable to locate any genealogical records on John L.'s ancestry. I'm assuming that the "Landrum" is a maternal surname, but I have no proof of this. My guess is it's a surname of some line of the family. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
