WHITMARSH--Searching for descendants of Benjamin Whitmarsh and Rhoda Drumb who settled in what was originally Richland County, Ohio in 1819 in Milton Township. This later became part of Ashland County. Benjamin died in 1865 there. Please email me directly. Thanks for any help.

Need information on DANIEL STAHL. He sold land in Savannah about 1890 to Fredrick Johnson lot #36. Then again in 1893 he sold some more land in Savannah to Mary Wirt Lot #63. So he must have been alive then. When and where did he die? Can't find any trace of him. All his children lived locally. Any help appreciated.

Seeking information about the family of George and Mary (Tilton) HOOVER. George HOOVER was born about 1840; Mary TILTON was born October 1, 1842 in Ashland County. Known children were Rosanna, b. abt. 1873, Alva, b. abt. 1874, Samuel, b. abt. 1876, and Marcus, b. abt. 1878. The family was living in Ashland County, Montgomery Township, when the 1880 census was taken.
