SOWERS posted by Penny Bucks on Friday, October 2, 1998

I am researching the surname SOWERS.Martin SOWERS was born 1825 in Germany. His wife Mary was born 1827 in Pa. They had two sons, John born Aug,1848 and Christian born 1849,both in Ohio. I found them in the Ashland county- Montgomery township 1850 census, but cannot find Martin and Mary after that. I found the two boys John 22 ,and Christian 20, in the 1870 Williams county- St. Joseph township census. There was also a Mary 18 years old living with them . I am thinking she may have been a sister sister since they were all listed as being single. If anyone can help me with this family, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Penny

Children: Isaac Milton GALBRAITH b: July 11, 1857 near Belmore, Putnam County, OH. Mary Evaline GALBRAITH, b. April 24, 1859 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. John Nelson GALBRAITH, b.
