I'm looking for information on Michael SCHMIDT. All I know about him is that he married Margaretha MUHLHEIM on 8/11/1886 and that they had five children, Minna Augusta (aka Minnie SMITH), Marina Margaretha (aka Mary RANNELS), Karl Jakob (aka Charles SMITH), Georg Heinrig (aka George SMITH), and Ernestus Raphael. Mararetha died in 1894 after giving birth to Ernestus, who died at the age of five weeks. Shortly after Ernestus died Micheal disappeared. The girls were raised by the LOCKREY (sp) family and the boys by the MUHLHEIM (MILLHEIM) family.

SWANEY, James. Born 1752 in Ireland. Moved to Richland Co. OH about 1821; died 1841 in Ashland Co. OH. Was Rev War. Looking for info on his first family; one son was James Swaney, born 1790 in Pennsylvania, but no other children of the first marriage. His second marriage resulted in nine children, including Wesley Swaney of Ashland Co.

I am looking for any available information on the family of George D. SHANE. He was born in VA in 1809 and married Sarah Ann FORD,(b.MD 1814) possibly in PA. They had two children born in PA. They were Hester (b.1834) and James H.(b.1837). They moved to Mohican and had five more children. They are, William D.(b.1838), Thomas B.(b.1841), Samuel J. my grandfather,(b.1844) Nelson,(b.1848) and Mary M.(b.Feb. 1850). In the 1850 census, I found James H. SHANE, living with the Justice Weatherly family and in the 1880 census, James was married to Elizabeth and had 3 children and Wm. was married to Ollie Parrott and had 3 child- ren. James children were Dayton, Alvin, and Ada in 1880, and the children of William were Wm. Jr., Assey, and Birdie. On the 1920 census I found Alvin G. SHANE married to Minnie E. and they had three children, Martin L., Gladys, and James. Any and all info on these people that lived in ASHLAND, CO. would be appreciated.

Researching the family of J. Jacob HEIFNER, born 23 September 1752 in Hessia, Germany, died 23 November 1848, married to Elizabeth MILLER, born 25 April 1760, died 13 January 1824 and both buried in the HEIFNER family cemetery in Nankin, Ashland Co., OH. J. Jacob HEIFNER, a Revolutionary War soldier, came to Ashland Co., OH in 1817 from Frederick, Frederick Co., MD with several of his family members, including sons; J. Jacob HEIFNER, Jr., Frederick HEIFNER, Henry HEIFNER, John HEIFNER, David HEIFNER and Valentine HEIFNER and daughters; Mary HEIFNER, Catherine HEIFNER (who married John BISHOP who settled in Ashland Co., OH is 1814) and Elizabeth HEIFNER. Jude GRAHAM In Census of 1840, he is head of household in Montgomery Twp., Richland County. He is between 30 and 40 years old. His wife is also 30 to 40. There are 5 male children under 15 years; 1 female child 10 to 15 years old; one female between 20 and 30 years. I would like to contact anyone who has an interest in this family. LINGENFELTER. Seeking ancestors of Dr. James A. and Mary (PETOT) LINGENFELTER. James was born in Bedford Co., PA, moved to Stark Co., OH, then to Ashland Co., OH (Loudonville). James and Mary (PETOT) LINGENFELTER had three children: Dr. Claude A.; Harry; and Charles. Claude A. LINGENFELTER was born Loudonville, Ashland Co., OH 24 May 1884 and practiced medicine in Bucyrus, Crawford Co., OH. He married Marian GILMARTIN, who was born at Scranton, PA, d/o Frederick and Rhoda (JONES) GILMARTIN. They had a son: William Claude LINGENFELTER. Harry LINGENFELTER was in the jewelry business in Loudonville and family store survives, operated by descendants. Charles LINGENFELTER resided in Los Angeles, CA. Wanting any information on BURKHOLDER family. Henry was in Ashland Co.Mont.twp.1860 cen. age 55,b.Pa. with wife Ann and children, Elizabeth,Ann M. Leonard,Elias and George. Also Wm. Wanting to exchange information on James SWANEY, b. 1752, Ireland and his descendants. He m. Catherine NOBLE. He resided in Montgomery Twp., Richland Co., now Ashland Co. from 1820s to 1843 when he died. Son James moved to Hancock Co. in 1832. Other children: Sarah, m. John POLLOCK; David, m. Sidney LATTA; Rebecca, m. Lewis LATTA; Wesley, m. Lydia BILLINGS; Fletcher, m. Mary Ann GITCHELL; Alexander, m. Eliza SHEEY; Artabanes and Robert, d. young; Eliza, m. John DAVIDSON.
