William Henry DAVIDSON, b 9/26/1815 VA, d 9/24/1864 Ashland Co., Ohio, m. Sarah SMALLEY, b 5/1/1817 (where unknown), d 12/1/1901 Ashland Co., Ohio. Both buried in Nankin Cemetary. Two sons are civil war vet Co. H. 42nd OVI: William H. and John (need in o on this company). Wm H had brothers Silas (Cyrus?), Jonas (have no info on them), John(?), Richard Hamon (m. Sophie SMALLEY), James Ross, Daniel Melvin (m Kesiah BRUBAKER)and two daughters Mary (d. y.) and Catharine Anne (m 1st Cyrus RUFFCORN, and m 2nd Israel ZENTZ). Looking for any information on family and William Henry's parents from Virginia. Also, looking for relatives to Sophia Davidson who married Frank COOPER. She was a daughter to Wm and Sarah.

I am looking for information about HOMER PECK, b. 1820 in Ct. Moved to Ruggles Twp. with his family (4 children) in 1826. He lived there until his death in 1894. He married ELIZA DEWITT in 1845. She still survived in 1894. They had four daughters, one f them - ELIZA PECK PLOUGH is my great-grandmother.

gathering information on the desc. of Edward F. Moffett and Mariah E. Hitt; and John W. Sutton and Mary Lucinda Hitt. Both Hitt women sisters and daughters of James William and Mary Hall Hitt of Freeman's Creek, Lewis co., WVA. Mary Lucinda Hitt Sutton died 11 Jun 1924. Obituary in Weston, WVA newspaper states she was buried in Ashland, OH. Her sister, Mrs. E. F. Moffett is also said to have been residing in Ashland, OH. trying to find any desc. and burial places of above people.

Searching for information on the family of John V. Kever & his wife Mary Ann Reed/Reid. John & Mary Ann were married in Van Wert Co. OH on 1 Mar 1860 & shortly thereafter moved to Ashland Co. OH. Five boys were born to this union: Wiley, Kirby, Perry & two unknown. It's possible the two unknown boys died in Ashland Co.
