Oh, boy, I've done it now! My young friends prompted me to create a ramble page dedicated to the aforementioned : Final Fantasy VII (7) a computer game, Final Fantasy VIII (8), not the sequel, but a game in the series and Sorceror Hunters, also known as Bakuretsu Hunters, which has TV series fame from Japan. Actually, this is more FFVII than anything else, but you can't have it all!
To indulge them, I've written a few rambles featuring some of the characters and some of us. If you've read my fiction Imperfect Perfection, you'd recognize these names:
Jha'Meia : Is me. Taken from my name Jaymee (more on that later) and I do just about all the writing here.
Shi'Iana : Is two years my junior, Shi-Ian. She likes Laguna Loire of FF VIII fame. She's absolutely crazy about FF VII just like-
D'Brah : Debrah. She's ALSO very crazy about FF VII and FF VIII. Thanks to me, Shi-Ian got hooked onto Sorceror Hunters, and thanks to her D'Brah got hooked too. Argh.
Here are some of the more permanent characters in the rambles :
Laguna Loire : From FF VIII. Shi-Ian likes him because he has long hair. What is this about long hair???
Vincent Valentine : From FF VII. Now, I can see why those two would like him. He's emotionally unavailable. I'm sorry! But he is! He's one of the more interesting characters in the game, to me. You see, he- Agh, this is going to be hard to explain. Never mind, then.
Aeris Gainsborough : Okay, this is her deal. She is dead. But she also happens to be a very sweet person (althought rather weak in the game) and she's not entirely human. She died while praying by the villain of the game. (Way I saw it, he just fell from nowhere and stabbed her.) We brought her back to life because we saw the potential of several good encounters with her around. Also, she's our favourite character too!
Sephiroth : THIS is the villain of FF VII. YES, he killed Aeris. YES, in the game, he's evil, he fell into somewhere, floated somewhere and served an alien who spoke into his head, whom he thought was his mother. It's all very complicating to explain, so I'm not going to bother. Play the game yourself! He's also very interesting for speculation, and after the first few rambles (in which we all poked fun at him), I simply stuck him with Aeris... yes, even though he killed her. If you knew why we stuck her with him, you'd UNDERSTAND.
Irvine Kinneas : From FF VIII. Yeap, the guy holding the big gun
who shoots the big bullet. He wears a cowboy hat and a yellowish-brown
trenchcoat. I find him charming, so that's why he's there some of the time.
Shi'Iana and D'Brah don't like him, but hey, I'm the writer.
We also drag in other people occasionally. One person whom I specially created is Katherina, who can do just about anything she pleases. She's a fixture in the first few rambles, but after a while, I got bored with her chasing after Sephiroth and slowly she got insinuated out. Ah well...
Enough talk, here are the Rambles!!
