Now this is the main reason why I made a homepage. No matter what I write, I always tend to lean more towards poetry.
There's just something about how much beauty can be found in its form, simpler than whole paragraphs, and how it doesn't need to be as elaborate to be powerful. My favourite time to write is late at night, where logic's hold over me isn't as strong and the next morning I'll read what I wrote completely forgetting that I wrote it.

Any comments can be sent to me in an e-mail (compliments preferred, but of course I welcome constructive criticism). I was thinking that I could add a little section at the end of the poem for comments, but I'm still toying with that idea.

I've divided my work into two sections, the early works (which I'm not entirely proud of, but hey, it's where I got started) and of course the current stuff. I wrote notes at the end of most poems to shed more light on it.
I often forget to put dates on my work, I tried estimating though. Not that it's incredibly important.

Translations
(
my attempts at translations of Malay poems to English out of boredom)
Anak Laut (Son Of The Sea or The Fisherman's Lament)
Derita Pertama (Adam: The First Sadness)
Syair Pembunuhan Ratna Angreni (The Tragedy of Ratna Angreni)

The translations were done without me asking permission from the true authors of the poems. I saw them as boredom doodles, you must understand. So I'm not surprised if they choose to sue me. I will be surprised if they manage to find this page though.
