Take my hand,
And lead the way
Feeling grand,
Just let me stay…
Let me stay here
Wherever you are,
I just want you near
Since you've been so far.
Hold me so tight
And don't ever let go
And we'll move slowly
Over the dance floor
Now it's just you and me
Everyone else's gone from view
Cheek against shoulder… just how it should be
As I pull back slowly and look at you
I wish I could show you
Everything I know
And I wish you could want me
Crave me like I crave you so
Every second
Every blink
It all counts,
But shh, don't think
Let's just let this moment pass by
Where it's just us, you and I.
We don't have long,
Because I wake up at dawn.
