You can give individual characters (or groups of characters) a different size, bevel, extrusion, or color as in the example. This page describes how you can do this.

Step 1

Select the characters you want to change. To do this:

  1. You need the text cursor displayed; if necessary select the button.
  2. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the cursor to where you want the selection to start.
  3. Use Shift+the arrow keys to select the character (or characters) you want to change.

Step 2

Now you have some characters selected, any changes you make apply only to the selection. So, for example, changing the bevel type affects only the selected characters (the "3" in this screengrab of part of the dialog box):
 


Note:
You can change the font and size of selected characters using the Text Options dialog box. Select the characters as described above (the text cursor is already displayed) and then change the font or size.
