Short-Ranged Missiles:

The primary armament for UN Spacy fighter squadrons is the Short-Ranged Missile.  Providing excellent stopping power at a minimum of take-off load, the SRM come in a wide array of variants.

Medium-Ranged Missiles:

The first strike in many space-superiority battles comes from the Medium-Ranged Missile.  With over twice the stopping power and ten times the range of the SRM, the MRM also costs several times the amount of take-off mass for a fighter to carry.  The MRM also provides the widest array of varieties.

Long-Range Missiles:

Long-ranged missiles are rarely seen on the modern day battlefield.  While their extremely long range and powerful warheads make them very deadly, their high take-off mass makes them prohibitive in the fast-paced arena of dog-fighting.  Their use is normally limited to direct assaults against capitol ships and stationary targets.

Bombs and Rocket-Pods:

For missions against capital ships and stationary target, rockets or bombs are often used.

Rockets are mounted instead modular pods for volley fire.  Rockets are always unguided, but can deliver a tremendous amount of fire-power against a stationary target in a few quick seconds.  Each standard rocket pod holds 24 High-Explosive Armor-Piercing rockets, which can all be fired in the same melee round.

The explosive power of bombs far exceeds that of equivalent sized missiles, but their lack of power makes hitting a moving target nearly impossible.  The following is the list of the variety of bomb types.
