   Spacy Services Division:

The UN Spacy is made up of thousands of capital ships, tens of thousands of fighters and shuttlecraft, and hundreds of thousands of individuals.  Combined with the other armed services branches, the UN military contains over a million people.  A key part in maintaining morale and organization in an establishment as large as the UN armed forces is the UN Spacy Services Division.  The UNSSD is in charge of supply distribution, morale, propaganda campaigns, and almost every other instance where the UN Spacy as an organization is presented to an individual person (whether military or civilian).  Members of the UNSSD are those soldiers who man the recruitment offices scattered across the colony worlds.  They are ones who plan and organize military parades and air shows.  They are the ones who take a unit CO's equipment requisitions, and they are the ones who deliver the letters to the families of those who are lost in the wars.  On the Aerie, the UNSSD holds responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of the popular Promenade area.  Their job is to make the existence of the UN Spacy smooth, comfortable, and successful, and they take their job with pride.

   Inter-service Intelligence Corps ("I-Corps"):

The Inter-service Intelligence Corps – “I-Corps” for short – is made up of members of every Branch of UN Military Service.  UN Spacy, UN Space/Air Force, UN Space Marines, UN Army; all these Branches send personnel to I-Corps.  I-Corps personnel wear the Uniform of the Branch of Service that they belong to, with the addition of a gold (for Officer Ranks), or brass (for Enlisted Ranks) collar tab/pin on each side of the collar.  The symbol that identifies I-Corps personnel is taken from ancient Egyptian mythology – the “all-seeing Eye of Horus”.

The function of I-Corps is, primarily, the analyzing of data brought in from the field, and the dissemination of that data among each Service.  I-Corps personnel are most often seen going through enemy wreckage, looking for advanced tech as well as searching for any “black boxes” that can be analyzed.  I-Corps personnel are often assigned the duty of transporting classified, and even Secret, documents; Courier Duty is a large part of I-Corps’ day-to-day business.  I-Corps also handle debriefing of troops and interrogation of prisoners.  I-Corps makes use of a wide spectrum of trained personnel for their task – Technicians and Engineers, for analyzing enemy equipment – Clerks and Data-control people, for record keeping and collating –  Analysts that interpret the data, and make assessments as to it’s meaning – Psychologists and Psychiatrists for determining the impact certain information may have on the populace – and Operatives for uncovering the information in the first place.  All of these personnel are usually openly identified as Intelligence personnel, since I-Corps was built on inter-service cooperation.

Agency for Earth Government Internal Security:

AEGIS is a relatively new organization, formed less than a year ago in response to rumors that a separatist faction of Earth was planning on leaving the United Earth Government (UEG) to establish an independent nation-state.  The Senatorial Council, fearing that military and political bodies might be divided if the succession ever occurred, established AEGIS as a kind of governmental security force with one goal, to find and weed out traitors to the UEG.  AEGIS is a civilian organization, but it does carry limited authority to perform operations on board military facilities.  This limited authority includes the ability to arrest soldiers for treasonous actions, and to force the CO of a military unit to hold a Summery Court Martial to try such arrested soldiers.  While the limits of these powers held by this young organization have yet to be fully tested, AEGIS has already begun to find seditious elements though out the UN Spacy.

The Office of the Council Designate:

Along with the establishment of AEGIS, the United Earth Government Senatorial Council decided that for larger, more controversial operations, they needed to take a personal hand in maintaining the loyalty of their troops.  To this end, they established the Office of the Council Designate.  A Council Designate was to be assigned to every flag-level field officer, to make sure their orders were in the best interest of the UEG.  While the Council Designate himself has almost no authority beyond the advisory capacity, a report from a Council Designate about "questionable behavior" in a high ranking officer is oftentimes enough to have that officer's military commission revoked.  Most Council Designates work together with a Chief Special Agent from AEGIS  to better execute their combined duties.
