Bio-Energetic Spectrum Analyzer Scans for thermal and bio-electrical patterns, thereby assessing the physical and neural complexities of life-forms detected. Cannot determine sentience. |
Marine Doppler-Motion Tracker By measuring changes in localized air-pressure, this device can detect nearby movements. A Doppler Filter can be adjusted to change the tracker's sensitivity |

Multi-Spectrum Imaging System Used either as goggles or a scope, this device allows the user to see in low-light, Infrared, Thermal-graphic, or even view an Ultra-sound scan of the area |
Portable Radar Picket Usually set up around a base camp, these device are used as a security measure to ensure the safety of ground troops. They can be set to either passive or active radar |

Portable Welding Torch At 10x15x20 cm and weighing a mere 8 kg, this compact acetylene blowtorch is able to cut through standard durasteel bulkhead panels at 2 cm per second. |
Military Issue Field Terminal Basically a heavy-duty lap-top computer, these devices can be networked together with a central computer via an integral laser communications up-link. |

Dataline Tap and Scannner A palm-sized computer accessory with an attached set of fiber-optical and electrical cables used to gain non-standard access to data as it is transmitted through data-lines |
Location Tracking Devices Pairing several coin-sized low-frequency transmitters tied to a signal locator. The locator can detect the range and direction to a transmitter up to 5 miles away. |

Audio/Video Surveillance Devices A set of small microphones and cameras (commonly called "bugs") used for surveillance purposes. These devices are illegal for use by non-security personnel. |
Bugjammer\White-Noise Generator A fist-sized device that transmits "white-noise" across a broad range frequencies, nullifying most known remote surveillance and listening devices. |

Subterranean Sensory Assembly By firing a low frequency sound pulse into the ground, this device can detect changes in soil or rock density, allowing the user to find buried objects up to 500 feet deep. |
Central Comm. Array (CCA) Used as a nexus for radio, microwave, and laser communications, as well as a satellite up-link, the array allows a landing team to remain connected to its Command. |

Winter's Night Small-Unit Communications Tactical Network (TacNet) The transceiver is a light-weight headset (usually built in a helmet) attached to a small control device usually kept at the hip. The control device has three settings: Personal, Unit, and Broadcast. The Personal setting broadcasts only to a preset recipient (usually a team partner). The Unit setting broadcasts to all members of that Winter's Night TacNet (usually a Platoon). Utilizing an up-link to a CCA (see above), the broadcast setting can be used to contact any other TacNet attached to that CCA. The Winter's Night System also includes GPS technology and IFF recognition software, all uploaded to a display on the helmet's visor. |
