Overall Impressions
I will be adding quite a few photographs to this page in due course, taken during my now many visits to the city, some of the views magnificent, like the views taken from the top of the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty, some poignant, like the ones I took from the top of the World Trade Centre.

A quiet day spent fishing by the river? In upstate New York perhaps? NO! This photograph, taken on Saturday 25th July, 1998, is actually one of Central Park Lake, right in the centre of New York. Central Park is in fact a mostly tranquil place to visit, and NewYorkers come here in great numbers at lunchtimes when the weather is pleasant.
