Los Angeles , California

Los Angeles, (The City of Angels) is, I am sure, best known as being the home of the Hollywood movie.  One visit to Los Angeles was enough to convince me that just about every second person in the city is either connected with the movie business, or the recording world, or wants to be. We considered going to Universal Studios here for a look round, on a very hot July day, but the queues were so long and the ticket cost so great for the time that we had available that we went to Santa Monica Beach (pictured below) instead. In Santa Monica, I found Penny Lane Records, (who since then seem to have changed location), a touch of Liverpool in a very superficial and glitzy city. I have been through Los Angeles several times since, but have not had any reason or desire to revisit the city.

The following States will be covered specifically in due course: Arizona. Arkansas. California. Colorado. Florida. Illinois. Louisiana. Maine. Michigan. New York. Ohio. Texas. Utah. Vermont. West Virginia. Wyoming. and Hawaii! (one of the most amazing places that I have visited so far)
