Santa Barbara, California.

Several places in the world might, with good reason, claim to be "Heaven on Earth". For me, this would be one legitimite contender. The rolling hills of the Californian Coast, white sands, daytime sun, and a cool night breeze to make sleeping easy, combined to make Santa Barbara one of the most pleasant places that I have ever stayed, for I spent six nights here, with my friend Shally and her family, in July 1999.
