Washington D.C. ....Capital City of the United States of America, this city has always struck me as being as clean and white and orderly as New York is dirty, chaotic and noisy. Well worth a short visit, if only to stand on Capitol Hill, and admire the Capitol building, then walk down to the Washington Monument, and then on to gaze through the railings at the White house. (That's if you can get that close to them  in these days of American total security paranoia.)

The following States will be covered specifically in due course: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; Florida; Illinois; Louisiana; Maine; Michigan; New York; Ohio; Texas; Utah; Vermont; West Virginia; Wyoming; and Hawaii! (one of the most amazing places that I have visited so far)
