Overall Impressions
  ARKANSAS   (AR)

Having grown up in the real Malvern (Malvern, Worcestershire, United Kingdom (the one famous for its beautiful range of hills), my curiousity concerning the State of Arkansas was raised because this particular State contains one of the several Malvern namesakes in the world,  namely, Malvern, Arkansas. Unlike many of the States listed on this page, I have never actually stayed in Arkansas, but only travelled through the State. So the picture below is one which was grabbed, as the Amtrak train swayed and slowed for its scheduled stop in Malvern, Arkansas. If one is looking for hills, Malvern Arkansas does not give the Malvern of my childhood any competition.
I have however, in my travels around the USA , met a fair number of people who have come from Arkansas.

The following States will be covered specifically in due course:
Arizona.
Arkansas.
California.
Colorado.
Florida.
Illinois.
Louisiana.
Maine.
Michigan.
New York.
Ohio;
Texas.
Utah.
Vermont.
West Virginia.
Wyoming.
and
Hawaii!
(one of the most amazing places that I have visited so far)
