In this page, you will get to explore the mind, events and feelings of a Chun Jui... ok, fine, judging from the past 24 years, my life is far from what you call "eventful" (in fact, "dull" might the be more appropriate adjective) but I'll try to keep my entries interesting!

The last day of 2004! Looking back on the past year, I must say that once again, I've been blessed by the stars above for having good health, good friends, and my loved ones are still by my side. I did not go through any major ups or downs this year-- heck, it's even been downright BORING most of the time but I'd take the safe and stable life over a dramatic soap opera any day! So, for 2005, what I do I hope for? Well, I hope that I will never, in any circumstance, lose sight of who I am or my principles. I hope that I will always have the strength to stay true to myself. I hope that I will never ever have to depend on material things and objects for happiness or satisfaction. I also hope that I will never need to depend on other people for happiness either. I hope that I will always remember that true happiness comes from within myself and that every situation has more than one perspective-- I hope that I will always be able to see the positive one.

Anyway, moving right along, tonight (actually, last night on the 30th), May I finally got to meet up with each other and exchange presents. This year, we have a special occasion to celebrate: it is our 10th year of meeting each other and being best friends. :) For the past 10 years, we've both been through a lot and we certainly have matured a lot. Anyway, thanks May, for always being there for me and always listening to me. You always say that you're an impatient person but you're really not: you're always patient with me even when I'm in one of my "stupid" moods. It takes a lot of patience to put up with me!

Happy New Year, everyone! By the way, this is a snapshot of what's supposedly in store for me in 2005 . Sounds promising! ;) How does 2005 look for you?

Apologies again for the long hiatus! Here's a brief update since the last entry:

I've officially finished my very last practice teaching placement of my program, my three-month long internship at Buttonville P.S. Although I couldn't wait for it to be over, I still felt a little sad when I did leave. I had formed such a strong rapport with the kids that I felt a little guilty for leaving them (does that sound silly?). Anyway, the kids were really sweet on my last day, attaching themselves (physically) to me all day and giving me really thoughtful presents and handmade cards. They even skipped recess just so they could spend some more time with me, isn't that so sweet?? Then, last Thursday, I surprised with a visit and to conduct the Primary Choir during the dress rehearsal. Boy, were they ever surprised!! Immediately, I was ambushed from all directions with huge bear hugs, as well as being interrogated for my email address, my phone number, and even my autograph! hahahaha... So this how a celebrity must feel like! :P Oh, and the Primary Choir did beautifully, sounding very sweet and looking really cute!

The next important thing that happened was, of course, our farewell to Moaz . *Sigh* Another departure from our HK gang! I guess that's what happens when we grow older: friends will move away but hopefully, geographical distance won't affect our friendships. Anyway, Moaz, good luck on everything in Malaysia and don't forget to write us!

What's in store for me next? Well, I'm starting to prepare my job applications--scary!! I hope that I will find a job early so I won't have to worry about that over summer as I want to have fun before I have to settle down! :D

In case I don't update again before Christmas, here's wishing all of you a warm, peaceful and Merry Christmas , and may the New Year bring all of you happiness, good health, prosperity, and lots of love!
