Well, it's August again, which means the end of summer is near... which means back to school! booooooo!!! Anyway, what have I been up to during the past little while? Well, yesterday was my best friend, Liz's bridal shower, so for the past two weeks or so, I have been busy slaving over her present--- a scrapbook that documents our friendship over the past 17 years. And I say SLAVING OVER because it took me soooo long to do each page of the scrapbook... being the anal perfectionist that I am, each page had to be absolutely perfect and I didn't want to make any mistakes. That resulted in HOURS spent on each page of the scrapbook but you wouldn't be able to tell because each page only contained a few items...
Anyway, it was worth it and I could tell that my scrapbook was Liz's favourite out of all the presents that she received at her shower. :) I also handmade her card (which I forgot to take a picture of... arggh), with a a cute little wedding dress (which I bought from a craft store) mounted on bright pink cardstock and pink construction paper with lots of silver glitter... :P As you can imagine, it was pretty girly... heehee.
AND, over the past week, I had to work with the incompetent annoying co-worker, as the girl I normally work with had to fly out to Jamaica for her grandfather's funeral. In short, it was a VERY LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG week--- and I still have to work with her for one more day before the other co-worker comes back!!! We definitely had some tension between us as she and I both had very different attitudes towards children and teaching...
