In this page, you will get to explore the mind, events and feelings of a Chun Jui... ok, fine, judging from the past 22 years, my life is far from what you call "eventful" (in fact, "dull" might the be more appropriate adjective) but I'll try to keep my entries interesting!

HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY, LIZZIE!! I can't believe it's your birthday already-- that means only one more month until mine!! ughh... =P But anyway, your present is on the way but in the meantime, you go out and have fun celebrating your 23rd birthday!! =)
We went bowling last night at World Bowl, and I'm proud to say that I didn't bowl the lowest score! =) It was a lot of fun but just when we were leaving, disco bowling was just starting! It was really cool to bowl in the dark with the pins and balls glowing, disco balls flashing, and cheesy disco music pulsating. =) Next time I bowl, it will be disco bowling!!
My mom's friend came over for lunch the other day, and they were asking me about boys and all that jazz. We basically had a girls' talk, discussing what types of guys we are attracted to, and so forth. I didn't say much, only because it felt kinda weird to talk about this kinda stuff to them... But nonetheless, that conversation brought up so many bittersweet memories, and mixed emotions. After certain experiences, I finally know now what I don't want in a boyfriend. I don't want someone who doesn't know how to fully appreciate the person that I am; I won't and can't be like someone else. I am who I am, and I refuse to be anyone's replacement/substitute. Another thing I know I can't stand in a guy is someone who can't face difficult situations. Be a man and deal with it, no matter how much it hurts! By avoiding problems, the pain is only delayed for a short amount of time but causing much more pain in the long run, and hurting other people as well. *sigh*
I just bought Elva Xiao's latest album, and it's really, really good! My favourite is Track 9, Bu Pei ("Not Right for Each Other"/"Not Matching", something along those lines...) a song I can totally relate to.

Feeling much better today, though still a little stuffed up. =( I had been feeling crappy since Monday, and yesterday, I had a (slight) fever... ugh. I had hoped that I would feel good enough to workout today but on Tuesday night, I had worked out despite feeling crappy, and then, bam, I developed that fever yesterday. I think I should wait until I get my physical energy back...
Anyway, what did you all do on the past long weekend? I didn't do much except for the BBQ party at Cornell's (Lisa's boyfriend) house on Saturday right after work at Marilake. To be honest, I was feeling uncomfortable about going because I'm the type that feels awkward and shy around people I don't know. That's a personality trait that I'm trying hard to get rid off because interpreted in a negative light, I may seem anti-social or even snobbish (as someone had told me of his initial perceptions of me! =P) But anyway, I had promised Lisa and the rest of the Marilake teachers that I wouldn't bail out this time, so I went. It was a great party though, and I'm glad that I did go. It was a little awkward at first but when more people arrived, things started to pick up. It was kinda strange at first too because Cornell's best friend (who was at the party) is actually someone I went to high school with, and hadn't seen nor spoken to since OAC! Nonetheless, it was fun, and I feel closer to my co-workers. Pics will be posted as soon as they're developed! =)
Someone congratulate me on the first anniversary of this little website of mine! =) I know it's not much and I don't always do updates but this website has become a vehicle for me to express myself in words via this eJournal, in music via the mp3 on the main page, in pictures via the photos in the "My Friends" and "My Memories" pages, and more. Though this website does not get a lot of hits, I'm still grateful for those who care enough (or just nosy enough!! Just kidding!) to click into this website to see what's up with me. Thanks!

Wow, long time no update! Actually, I did try to update twice before the end of April but Geocities was being ridiculous and would NOT load my updates!! But anyway, before I knew it, it's already the middle of May, and almost the first anniversary of this website! =) So, anyway, what's new? Well, I've finally completed my undergrad career-- yippee!!! Congrats to all my friends who have also survived 4 years of university- hell! =P
I really don't have much interesting stuff to say (which is why I haven't updated for so long), as I am just enjoying my summer vacation by going to work, eating, sleeping, reading, watching TV, hanging out with friends, shopping, etc. In terms of reading, I've picked up the latest novel by Margaret Atwood (the woman with the short eyebrows, right, Golnaz?? hahaha...) called "Oryx and Crake". If you've read "The Handsmaid's Tale", then you would be interested in reading this one. I haven't finished reading it yet, but so far, I'm as creeped out as I was when I was reading "The Handsmaid's Tale". "Oryx and Crake" is also about the future, and it ain't pretty... I've also started reading Austin Clarke's "The Polished Hoe", and a bunch of books by a Japanese writer (translated to English). I have so much to read!!
Caroline, hope you're doing well at Western, though, you're right, it ain't no HK! =) Maybe I can visit you...
