9th Organizing Committee Meeting

Venue: Choy’s home

Date/time: Oct 10 04, 1pm -3pm

Attendees:

Kheng Seng, Frankie Choy, Eng Hong.

Minutes:

As of 10 Oct '04 ,total payment received was for 19 rooms and 55 heads for dinner. Further 3 rooms and 25 heads for dinner pending for payment. Still have about 8 rooms to achieve our hotel room target of 30 by end of Oct'04. Should not have problem to achieve minimum of 100 persons for the dinner.

Frankie did update the Hotel room rate will be RM438 if reserve after Nov 11, 04. Committee will have to review the number of room reserved whether want to increase or stay at 30 by end of this October.

Frankie also updated the Corkage provided by hotel Mutiara as below:

    - liquor    RM75/bottle
    - Wine    RM45/bottle
    - Beer    RM7.50/bottle
    - Beer    RM3.50/can
No decision was made on this matter. Will capture this as open for future meeting whether to look for sponsorship for this.

Reviewed the list that were captured for last two meetings. There were some progress. Committee will continue to review the list on coming week meeting.
