7th Organizing Committee Meeting

Minutes:
We only left about a month time to confirm the final number of hotel room. The deadline is end of Oct, 04. Confirmed 15 people have signed up and paid in full for the vacation package. Our target is to have at least 30 rooms and still have 15 to go. Committee did list down the potential candidates to be approached and also the responsible committee member:

Committee also open the option for those who interested for dinner only as have some feedback that some they might not be able spend a night in hotel. But committee still encourage people to sign up for full package to have better time to interact with old friends.
For Dinner, we have about 40-50 people confirmed. The current reservation ballroom will only cater for 10 tables or 100 people. We will need to reserve bigger ballroom that can cater for 13-15 tables. Will review the number again in the coming meeting.
Committee did discuss about the method of payment. Cash or Cheque pay to Ong Soo Siew should be the method of payment. Money or cheques will be collected by committee member and bring to our meeting and receipt will be issued by Soo Siew.
Open items to be reviewed on future meetings:
1. Quotation for T shirt - Gim Kooi.
2. T shirt design - Beng Hooi.
3. Luckily draw sponsorship.
4. Finalist hotel room number - Committee (30th Oct, 2004).
4. Decision to reserve larger ballroom to cater for 13-15 tables - Committee (30th Oct, 2004).
Will have weekly meeting on October to closely monitor the progress. Next meeting will be hold on 2nd Oct 2004, 8:30pm - 10:00pm at Frankie Choy's home.
