Committee agreed to select Mutiara Hotel as the price is reasonable and it saves RM60 by excluding breakfast.
Estimated about RM350 per couple for room and course dinner..
Choy will continue to negotiate with hotel to provide best price and service.
Some brief discussion about the two days vacation program as below:
12:00noon Hotel Check-in
2-3pm Meeting and briefing of program activities.
4-6pm Tele-match / games
7:00pm Dinner Registration
7:30-11pm Dinner
12:00noon Hotel check-out on second day.
Some concern and opens were brought up by committee:
- Concern about no food provided from 12noon to 8pm. May need to prepare own food.
- Need person in-charge for room arrangement.
- Request for some free vouchers from hotel for luckily draw.
- looking for sponsor for contact book, T shirt.
Action Request list captured for next meeting:
1. To further negotiate with Mutiara Hotel to provide best price and service (included some facility require for the activities). (Choy)
2. Quotation of T shirt (Gim Kooi).
3. T shirt design (Beng Hooi).
4. Each committee need to provide at least 5 person contact numbers on coming meeting. (All).
Next meeting will be held at Khoo Kay Seong's home on July 10, 2004 8:30pm -10:00pm. (address: 1, Taman Jelutong, 11600 Penang.).
