Frankie has booked the 30 hotel rooms and Chinese set dinner for 8 tables. He paid RM2150 in advance for deposit. The detail as below:
Room accommodation: RM225 X 30 rooms RM5750
Chinese Set Dinner: RM500 X 8 table RM4000

Frankie updated that 30 rooms have booked on 24th Jul, 2004 with the special room rate at RM225 per room during Chinese New year season. Hotel will not guarantee the same rate for any addition rooms. But Hotel still offer the same room rate if any booking done prior 1st Nov, 2004. Committee agreed that the deadline is 30th Oct, 2004 that need to communicate to our people. Committee need to collect money for any confirmation prior the deadline so that committee can consolidate and finalize the number of rooms require to book. Frankie also updated two complimentary vouchers were provided by hotel (buffer plus a night stay in hotel) will be used as luckily draw during the dinner.
Our treasurer, Soo Siew, managed to collect RM2100 on the meeting from committee. He also settled the advance payment that has paid by Frankie for the 20% hotel down payment.

Gim Kooi updated that he did publish the reunion event in five local Chinese newspapers last week. He will also help to prepare the flier that will used to distribute to our people for this reunion vacation package.
The focus now is to contact more people and collect money for those interested and confirmed to sign up for this vacation package.
