June SINULOG SA ILOG
Ilog, Negros Occidental
The Sinulog sa IIog is original to the town of Ilog, the first capital of Negros Island in 1632.

June 1-6 BUKLOG
Dipolog City, Mindanao
The festival features stationary dancing by native Subanens on three meter structures.

June 1-6 LINGGO NG ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE
Zamboanga del Norte
A week's celebration featuring agro-industrial fairs, sports, beauty pageants, concerts, cultural shows and welcome party of all Zamboanguenos living abroad.

June 11-12  GINUBAT FESTIVAL
Gubat, Sorsogon
A festival based on the roots of the town of which its name was derived. The features are: cultural street, parade, exhibits, sailboat race, beauty pageant, fiesta celebration and sports activities.

June 12  PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY
Nationwide
A nationwide observance of the country's Independence from foreign domination.

Kawit, Cavite

Re-enactment of the historic Proclamation of the Philippine Independence is done at the mansion of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, the first President of the Philippine Republic.

Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Cebu City

Civic military parade and program supplemented by socio-civic activities.  A celebration that focuses on Cebu's Heroes of the Revolution with lectures on the "Re-inventing of History for Posterity to understand its roots" and "The Museum and History, a new interactive approach to learning, an enriched view."

San Fernando City, La Union

Marked by flag raising ceremony, wreath laying at the monuments of National Heroes Hill, San Fernando and grand parade showcasing historical vignettes.

June 12  BARANGAYAN FESTIVAL
Cebu City
A parade of floats depicting the Filipino struggle for freedom from pre-Spanish to EDSA revolution. A float parade and a barangayan street dancing highlights the affairs, participated in by the different Barangay contingents depicting selected historical events in a dance drama at the end of the civic parade.

June 12  SILAY CHARTER ANNIVERSARY
Silay City
The city marks its founding anniversary. The Freedom Day Celebration culminates on June 12. It features agro-industrial-carnival fair, cultural showcases, laro ng bayan, civic programs, multisectoral parade and float competition.

June 12-15  JOINT INDEPENDENCE DAY AND CAGAYAN DE ORO CHARTER DAY CELEBRATIONS
Cagayan de Oro City
A week-long activity commemorating independence day, charter day, featuring nightly cultural presentations, sports festival and different agricultural products of Cagayan de Oro City.

June 12-20  ARAW NG COTABATO
Cotabato City
Charter Anniversary of Cotabato City. Events slated are Layang-Layang (kite) festival, Drum and Bugle Corps Competition. Fluvial Parade, Banca Race, sports Competition, Civic-Military Parade, the selection of Mutya Ng Kutabato and "Sanlahi Kalilang" Street Dancing Parade Contest.

June 13  PINTAKASI
Iriga City
The annual fiesta is celebrated in honor of St. Anthony of Padua, whom fellow Franciscan Frays Bartolome Ruiz and Pablo de Jesus installed as Iriga�fs Patron Saint in 1683 when it became a municipality.

June 13  FEAST OF SAN ANTONIO DE PADUA
Iba, Hagonoy, Bulacan
A former hacienda village in Hagonoy celebrates a fiesta featuring a fluvial procession in the morning of the 13th. A charming custom is the sunduan of Capitanas, a practice that is remnant from the days of the Gobernadorcillos.

Cervantes, Ilocos Sur
Commemoration of the unforgettable victory of the Filipino Guerrillas in Northern Luzon which led to the surrender of Gen. Yamashita and the end of the Japanese occupation in the Philippines.

June 15-17  NALIYAGAN FESTIVAL
Agusan del Sur
In celebration of the 31st Foundation Anniversary of Agusan del Sur. It is a six-day socio-cultural and arts exposition of the indigenous tribes in the entire Agusan Valley. It depicts the Agusanon culture and heritage. Natives from the hear of far-flung places of the province display their skills and gracefulness in dancing as part of their ritual activities.

June 16  ADLAW SA ILIGAN
Iligan City
Charter Day Anniversary of Iligan City Activities lined-up for the celebration are agro-industrial fair, cultural and sports activities. Choral and Dance Competitions and Tabanog Indigay.

June 19  LINGGANAY FESTIVAL
Alang-Alang, Leyte
A street pageant depicting the legendary and mythical story of the Bells.
