A Tubay river event rekindling the commercial culture of the municipality in the 1900 up to the late 1905s.

General Luna, Siargao Island
Open invitational surfing competition among the local & foreign surfers.

1st Sunday of October FEAST OF OUR LADY OF MANAOAG
Manaoag, Pangasinan
A nine-day novena celebrated which culminates on the 1st Sunday of October. Thousands of pilgrims and devotees gather to honor the blessings of "Apo Baket."

2nd Sunday of October LA NAVAL FIESTA
Angeles City
In commemoration of the Virgin of the Holy Rosary whose intercession saw the victory of the Spanish fleet over the Dutch invaders, Angeles City celebrates this fiesta with typical religious programs, and Filipino homes display the finest traditions of hospitality in entertaining guests with the finest food and drinks.

3rd Week of October LANZONES FESTIVAL
Camiguin
Showcases agro-industrial products/cultural presentations highlighted by street dancing competitions and Lanzones-picking.

October 1-4 ORCHIDS FESTIVAL
Tanjay Town, Negros Oriental
An activity which displays the variety of orchids propagated by the residents of the town. This is under the auspices of the Tanjay Orchid Society.

October 6-12 IBALONG FESTIVAL
Legazpi City
A festival depicting Bicol�fs early beginning as portrayed by the characters in the epic entitled - IBALONG. The name was the early nomenclature of Bicol Region. It showcases the many super heroes such as Handiong, Baltog, among others, and the rich arch enemies like Oryol and other wild animals that roamed the land. Masks of these heroes and villains are paraded on mainstreets, combined with songs and dances.

Dipolog City fiesta celebrated with religious and cultural shows.

October 7-11 ANA KALANG FESTIVAL
Nagcarlan, Laguna
A roster-full of activities highlighting an agri fair that exhibits the town�fs bountiful harvests and products. A music festival, children�fs sports competition, cultural events enhance the harvest celebration.

October 10-17 KASANGGAYAHAN FESTIVAL
Sorsogon, Sorsogon
This festival is a joint efforts of the Sorsogon Prov�fl. Tourism Council and the Prov�fl. Government of Sorsogon. It�fs name was derived from the dialect which means "prosperity and happiness."

October 12 ZAMBOANGA HERMOSA FESTIVAL
Zamboanga City
The region's biggest celebration marked by a regatta, bandoreal, cultural shows, art exhibits, flower shows, fair, etc. Highlighted by Fiesta Pilar honoring Nuestra Senora del Pilar de Zaragosa.

Ethnic dances featuring the Subanon rituals.

October 16-19 SAGINGAN FESTIVAL
Tubod, Lanao del Norte
A feast in honor of patron saint, San Isidro Labrador. In line with the celebration, activities are: street dancing contest with contingents using banana costumes, Agro-Industrial trade fair, display of different variety of bananas and fruits in season, search for the Mutya Ng Saging and Caromata Float Contest from the 24 barangays.

October 19 MASSKARA FESTIVAL
Bacolod City
Their biggest annual event that reflect the Bacolenos love for fun and gaiety. Coinciding with the city�fs Charter Day celebration, the festival features carnivals, fairs and a mardi-gras style by costumed and masked street dancers.

October 22-24 CATANDUNGAN FESTIVAL
Virac, Catanduanes
A celebration of the province�fs anniversary and a tribute to its founders, to continuously remind the people of Catanduanes of the province�fs independence from the province of Albay. Main features are: Street dance -- Pantomina, beauty pageant, Agro-trade fair, sports, guided tours, photo exhibits, etc..

October 23 MT. APO ECO-CHALLENGE
Kidapawan City, Magpet Cotabato
A project of the Provincial Government of Cotabato in coordination with the LGUs of Kidapawan and Magpet and the DOT-Region XII. It is a national activity and rock climbing in Mt. Apo via Kawayan Trail, Kidapawan-Magpet boundary, Province of Cotabato.

October 25 BATTLE OF SURIGAO STRAIT
Barangay Lipata/Barangay Punta Bilar, Surigao City
Commemorate the anniversary of the World War II. It is in Surigao Strait where the greatest Naval Battle in History took place. Highlights of the activities include Fly By (PAF), Gun Salute (PA), Floral/Candle Offering, Flag Raising, Open House Exhibit (at the vessel), Food Festival and Grand Ballroom, Tableau (recreate the battle), and Lighting of the symbolic flame.

Celebration begin with several masses at the Holy Rosary parish church after which the faithful kiss the feet of the Image of the Reclining Christ.

A food festival where the best of talents in the food and beverage of the Tanjayanons will be displayed and for sale. Food demonstrations and competitions will also be showcased.

Balibago, Angeles City
A part of Fiestang Kuliat celebration, this two-day merry-making features street dancing, variety shows and booths selling souvenir items. Roadside restaurants and drinking places are put up on the highway.
