February 14 KALINGA FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY
Tabuk, Kalinga
Annual celebration marking the creation of Kalinga as a separate province with Ullalim Festival as a Special Event Featuring the life of the Kalingas through the songs, dances and exhibits.

February 14 APAYAO FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY
Kabugao, Apayao
Annual celebration marking the creation of Apayao as a separate provincial component of the Cordillera Administrative Region, distinct from the Province of Kalinga.

February 14 KASALAN UG BAYLIHAN SA BOULEVARD
Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental
A Mass Wedding at the Boulevard to be conducted by the City Social Welfare and Development Office followed by a disco and ballroom dancing to be sponsored by the City Tourism Council.

February 16 55TH ANNIVERSARY OF RETAKING OF CORREGIDOR
Corregidor Island
Commemoration of the liberation of Corregidor Island from Japanese by U.S. forces in February 16, 1945. Flowers will be offered by veterans and their relatives to honor the dead soldiers of Pacific War Memorial-Topside, Japanese Garden of Peace-Tailside and Filipino Heroes Memorial-Tailside.

February 17 TAWO-TAWO FESTIVAL
Bayawan, Negros Oriental
Street dancing and showdown competitions day before fiesta celebrates scarecrows (tawo-tawo), through paper mache higantes as guardians of the town�fs crops.

February 17 STO. NINO FESTIVAL
Hagonoy, Bulacan
No streets anywhere in the country rival the profuse decoration of the Sto. Nino Fiesta of the same barrio in Hagonoy. In some cases, the strings upon strings of paper flowers and bundling cover both sides of the street.

February 17 BABAYLAN
Bago City
A colorfully choreographed festival of chanting and dancing, showcasing local rituals designed to heal the sick and the afflicted. It also showcases the ingenuity and artistry of the Bagoenos.

February 21-27 KALILANGAN FESTIVAL
Gen. Santos City
A festival to celebrate the "friendly eco-existence with all the peoples of Gen. Santos City". Activities agro-industrial trade fair, cultural presentations, drum & bugle competition, culinary arts contest "Pagana" "Kulintangan" ethnic musical instrument competition, "Kidig-Kidig sa Dalan" (street dancing).

February 21-28 BIKOL ARTS FESTIVAL
Legazpi City
A week-long festival showcasing the region�fs arts and culture, crafts and agro-industrial products coming from the six (6) provinces and three (3) cities of Bicol. It coincides with the celebration of the National Arts Month every February. Other activities lined up are: festival parade, museum tours, "karawat" (sports) and "laro ng lahi", quiz show and art exhibits.

February 24 CEBU CITY CHARTER DAY CELEBRATION

February 26 DIA DE LA CIUDAD DE ZAMBOANGA
Zamboanga City
A celebration honoring the historical event when Zamboanga was converted into a charter city. Activities include street dancing, cultural dance festival and a regatta.

Last Week of February 100 ISLANDS FESTIVAL
Lucap, Alaminos, Pangasinan
A merry making and festivity at Western Pangasinan featuring thanksgiving Mass who graces the occasion every year and other singers. Other activities include trade fair, sports competition/activities and the selection of Miss San Fernando.
