Loneliness

Loneliness is a word
A parent hates to hear,
It so sadly reminds them
Of that child who was so dear.

A child who has gone to Heaven
To spend eternity there,
And tho our love sustains us
It is oft times too much to bear.

Loneliness often over comes us
As we struggle day by day,
Our love for a child that was taken
At times is the only way.

We know one day we will meet again
Over on Gods golden shore,
By and by our sorrows will be forgotten
And will return no more.

Wait for that sweet and blessed time
When love will be strong anew,
Loneliness will ne'er come upon us again
As we bid this cruel world ado.
