| My Spirit Child He was once here with me To love and laugh and play, His smile so bright and happy It could light the darkest day. But now I have his spirit And as I go through my life, He will help and comfor me In this world so filled with strife. When my days are filled with fear and doubt He helps me stay the course, I will have no cause for fear His spirit is my greatest resource. He steadies me when I stumble And helps with what I don't know, By little whispers within my mind He shows me the way to go. What I would do without him Is something I may never find, The need to learn as I go on Because my spirit child is ever so kind. When others doubt what I say I tell them it is important to believe, A spirit child is forever with you Sure are the signs you will receive.
