Here it is!  The Oz Top 25 Countdown for the week ending April 6, 2002.

It's been a pretty interesting week, so let's get right into it!

Remaining on the top for 2 weeks was pretty impressive, but this week Darren Hayes is number one yet again!
Insatiable starts its third week atop the charts, the longest number once since Rapture (Tastes So Sweet) by Iio was number one for four weeks.  Speaking of Iio, the FINALLY fall of the chart this week after spending 16 weeks on the charts.  The reason for Darren's success is definitely having his latest album, Spin.  This is a great album, and it is only helping the song's chart placement.  Also there hasn't been a lot of strong competition in the past few weeks.  So if the song can log a whole month on the charts, you will have to come back next week.

Right behind at number 2 is Lasgo for a second week in a row, followed by Toya, who moves up to number three this week with her latest,
No Matta What (Party All Night).  At this point, I would say that I don't think either Lasgo or Toya are going to get any higher, but I could be wrong.  This week's biggest mover comes in at number 4.  After falling last week, Ian Van Dahl rebullets back up 11 spots to number 4 this week with Will I? If you haven't checked out this great dance tune, do so!!  At number 5 again this week is Alcazar.  I'm almost ready to call number five the ''Alcazar Spot".  I still love the song, but it just isn't good enough to get any higher at this point.

This week's top debut comes from Hoobastank.  The band is currently touring (or at least was) with Incubus, who they pretty much remind me of!
Crawling In The Dark is their debut single, and after a while, finally go to me!  The other debuts this week are all follow up singles.  At number 19 is the follow up to What About Us?, the title track from Brandy's latest album Full Moon.  The first track spent a sole week at number 11.  This track is much more to my favor.  At number 21 is the follow up from Pink.  The first single from Missundastood!, Get The Party Started could only manage to get to number 16.  Hopefully her latest, Don't Let Me Get Me can do better.  The final debut this week is at number 22 and is the latest from Travis.  It's the follow up to Sing which hit number 7 at the end of last year.  Flowers In The Window isn't nearly as good, but is catchy nonetheless and has an odd 70's feel to it.  Worth checking out.

Sheryl Crow reenters this weeks countdown at number 23.  Look for her latest song to move back up in the next few weeks as her new album,
C'mon C'mon, is about to be released.  This weeks biggest faller comes from Fat Joe.  After debuting at number 14 last week, What's Luv? has lost almost all of it's momentum.  It's a good rap song, but it gets old REAL fast!

Well that's all for this week.  There is a tight race in the top 5, so check back next week to see who's number one and who falls off!

Until then ...
