Nydus - There are a few ways to nydus. In all ways, you should have a distraction. It also helps to have more than one to get as many units through as possible. First, you can use parasite. Parasite a drone or overlord and you will be able to place a nydus at the mining. Whenever you nydus, you should put it right next to a building so it is harder to notice in the mini map. Another way is to build a nydus while you are attacking. This will easily get the troops from home to the enemy. Now, for the distractions. You need to distract your enemy so hopefully they don't notice you building it. First and the easiest is to attack them. But if you do that, it is probably not necessary anymore. Next, send in 12 overlords. Just fly around their base and try to escape any units hitting it. Just fly around until it's done. Finally, you can attack their partner and hope they come to the rescue. They can also attack you. They will be focused on the battle and not on the mini map. Nydus and then destroy. Overlord Drops - How much bigger of a brute for can you use besides putting your whole army into one location of your enemies base? Very helpful is to pack a few defilers into your overlord. Then, swarm over your army. Of course, you'll need a few lings. Overlord Hunting for your mutas - If you muta rush correctly, you should have a lot more gas than minerals. While you wait for you minerals, build scourges and kill off the overlords of your opponent. Keep this up and they won't be able to build units to counter you overlords. If they are smart, they will get some spores. Keep building drones and mutas while you do this. Swarm + Cracklings - This is the anti defending newbie strategy. Basically, this is a defense breaker. When you swarm, swarm in front of your enemy units. Then, walk your defiler in and swarm over them. Run in your lings and more defilers to swarm anything else. If your enemy has air units, swarm over groups of buildings that you attack so you will be safe. Keep your defilers under the swarm at all times. |
