Defense Breaking
Terran has the second best defense breaker. It is the best at killing newbie defenses because of the nukes and tanks. Range is the key in defense breaking and both nukes and tanks have a lot of that. The vessels are being moved onto the ghost to hide it. The marines will move up as soon as this is done. The Tanks protect the front of the ghost. They are not for attacking. Unsiege when the nuke falls.
Vs Newbie Defense - Against terran, a simple nuke will do. Against zerg and protoss, just tank push your way through cannons and sunkens.
Vs Expert Defense - Against terran you need to nuke. You will most likely not hit anything but tanks will unsiege and move back. Lockdown and defense matrix will become extremely handy. Irradiate medics or emp them to kill the energy and make them useless. Keep repairing your front line units. If all else fails, you'll need to bring in your battlecruiers with yamato gun to kill a few things.
Against protoss, emp all special ability units you see. Lockdown arbiters and matrix your front line attackers. Have plenty of goliaths to attack the cosairs when they go after your vessels. Irradiate templars. You can also irradiate zealots and dts.
Against zerg you have to tank push. You will need tons of tanks and around 12 science vessels. You need to shoot through swarm. Irradiate about 6 of your own vessels and place them in front of your tanks over the swarm to kill any attacking lings. Using the tanks, aim for the defilers first and clusters of hydras. Irradiate queens and ultralisks. If done well, zerg can have quite a strong defense but it requires a lot of micro management.
