There
is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But,
he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

You're
frightened, like a child trembling in the dark, hiding under the covers, afraid of the
monsters beneath her bed. If that little girl called to you in the night, scared and
alone, you would comfort her. You'd tell her there are no monsters and you are there for
her, ready to protect her. You'd hold her in your arms and rock her to sleep, safe in your
embrace.
Well, let me tell you, your Heavenly Father is here to calm your fears. Rest easy in the
knowledge that He won't let anything hurt you. Take heart that even in your darkest
moments, He will cradle you in His arms and sing softly to you. Sleep peacefully, little
girl. God is always watching over you. |

"Lord, even when I am most afraid, I will remember that You are protecting me. You
watch over me and let no harm come my way. I rest peacefully in Your arms.
