When feelings arise, they reveal what is in the heart. If we repel our emotions they cannot perform their purpose.
The purpose is to give us understanding.
Yada, is to understand, to know, to consummate, intimacy, honor, respect, oneness,unity. This is not all of the definition. It is very lond and each word is defined. Do a word study on each word, it will help you to understand Yada better.

If our emotions are not healthy, they cannot give us proper understanding. Our perception will be distorted. Fear of rejection can keep us from being intimate. This includes our intimacy with God. Jesus prayed that we would be one, just as He and His Father are one. This will not occur until we put off the old nature.


Prayer
"Lord Jesus, come and give us a tender heart that we may know you and love you with our whole heart, mind,soul and strength. And that we may love our neighbor as ourselves. We ask for and seek unity."

Remember, it cost all that He might know us and redeem us.

Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
