Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the
plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, "Brother let me take the
speck out of your eye" when you fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hipocrite,
first take the plank out of your eye and then you will see clearly how to remove the speck
from your brother's eye.
Luke 6:41-42
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation.
Romans 10:10
There is no sin as fatal as not acknowledging your sins. She who confesses will be
forgiven, but pity the woman who refuses to take responsibility for her wrongdoing. The
Lord promises that if we confess, He will redeem us. You must come face to face with the
truth before the truth can set free. It is only when you deliver up your flaws to God that
He can set you free. It is only when you deliver up your flaws to God that He can wash
them clean.
God desires perfection and your purity. He wants to restore you. He sent His son Jesus, to
save you; your sins and imperfections were crucified on the cross. Lay your sins at Jesus'
feet and accept His grace. Have no fear. You will be forgiven.
Prayer:
" Father, there are things in my life I am not proud of; things I want to hide from
You. I know that if I step into the light of truth and offer up my sins, You will shine
Your light in me. Please forgive me of all my sins and wash me white as snow. |
