It is hard to tell, but the entire hull has been glassed with Fiberglass Cloth and Epoxy. Much of the research I did on glassing the hull said it was a easy process.... It was easy, in the fact that it wasn't complicated, but it is a lot of work saturating the epoxy into the cloth. I used an 8 oz cloth and in hindsight, 6 oz would have been more than adequate and been much less work.

Here is a different angle. I put down a total of 7 coats of Epoxy. An initial coat to seal the wood, the coat with the cloth and 4 "fill" coats. I put on the epoxy in the absolute thinnest coats I possibly could. After that I mixed a batch of Epoxy with Microballoons and Silica and made a "fairing compound" that I diligently spread on the entire hull, and then sanded off....just to find a million more uneven spots... This part of the project has turned out to be a ton of work and I will be very pleased when the hull is painted and on the trailer.

Here is the front view. You can see where the glass overlapped. It doesn't look it, but these seems are very smooth and should be invisible once the paint is on. I am going to coat the hull with Interlux Epoxy barrier Kote... Interlux recommends 5-6 coats below the waterline - Yikes.... Hopefully I can apply the coats then sand it all smooth and save some effort. I'm getting tired of sanding..... I would say I have 1-2 hours in this project of actual building and 2000 hours sanding...

After talking to numerous folks, I decided to spend some more time prepping the hull. Although it was two weeks of sanding and applying epoxy filler, you can really see all of the low spots that were in the hull that have been filled with filler. This should provide a much better finish in the end. I'm glad I spent the time doing it, but even happier that I'm done. This was the worst part of the project. Sanding epoxy filler is a mess. If you try to sand it when it has only cured for 24 hours, it clogs the sandpaper. If you wait two-three days to sand it still clogs the sandpaper to a lesser degree and it is very much like sanding concrete.

Here is the front. Somehow I managed to get a hook in the front of the hull on both sides. They weren't symmetrical, so I decided to fill and sand. You can also see the where the bow eye will be installed.
